How You’ll Make a Difference:
As our next Mental Health/AOD Registered Nurse, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide critical support and care services to members of our community.
You’ll actively engage with patients, providing comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, and tailored treatment plans as needed. Your dedication to delivering evidence-based care and support will empower individuals on their journey to recovery, fostering healthier ways of living throughout Katherine West.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing culturally safe Mental Health and AOD care for people of all ages in the Katherine West region through direct contact with clients and families, and by providing guidance and advice to other members of the Primary Health Care team
- Demonstrating a high standard of professional practice and clinical knowledge that incorporates current best practice, education, and research
- Collaborating with clients, families, carers, and the multidisciplinary Primary Health Care team to provide an integrated approach to care management, coordination, and decision-making for clients requiring Mental Health/AOD support
