Who We Are Looking ForYou are an experienced Lecturer with a deep-seated passion and expertise in Science Education, complemented by your ongoing pursuit or attainment of an advanced degree in the field. Your rich teaching experience reinforces your ability to effectively supervise, guide and mentor, ensuring a seamless transition between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the learning journey.
You will have:
- Qualifications that meet requirements for professional registration as a teacher
- A PhD or research doctorate in a relevant discipline (completed or near completion)
- Knowledge of contemporary theoretical and policy debates and practice within science education
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage and contribute to science education focused projects
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to course or subject development, undertake subject coordination duties, and provide specialised support to students on placement
- A current Victorian Working With Children Check (WWCC) by the commencement of the teaching period
