About us
Legal Aid NSW helps people experiencing disadvantage with their legal problems. We can help people with criminal, family and civil law issues. We give legal advice, represent people at courts and tribunals and provide family dispute resolution. Assistance is available over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
About the Role
This newly created role will support the administrative running of the statewide Drug Courts. Specifically managing both the Parramatta Drug Court and Central Sydney Drug Court teams and function.  Create and manage a community of practice across the four statewide Drug Courts in relation to administrative best practice. Support and advise the Solicitor-In-Charge (SIC) and Senior Practice leaders in operational matters to ensure the effective delivery of client services. Manage and coordinate the administration team in both Parramatta and Central Sydney offices to ensure client service activities are resourced and achieved.
About you
You will have demonstrated leadership and managerial experience to be a confident, reliable and trustworthy leader of a team. You are a self-motivated individual who has excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service and customer satisfaction. You will have strong organisational skills, with meticulous attention to details to be able to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
You will be an experienced and skilled individual who is able to perform both independently and as part of a team environment. You will have the ability to build and grow strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, ensuring the needs and expectations have been met.
We may create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies we have over the next 18 months.
