We are looking for someone to join our small team in a friendly, highly flexible and supportive workplace.
This identified role is only for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants. You would work in the Social Policy Branch, with exposure to a wide range of social policy areas. If you are looking for the experience of working in a central agency, providing high level advice, being part of Cabinet processes and working in collaboration with other areas of government then this might be the role for you! While it’s not a role that will see you directly developing policy or programs, you will work with others to ensure the ACT Government meets commitments under the National Agreement on Closing the Gap and the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Agreement 2018-28.
You would also be encouraged and supported to spend work time participating in ACT Government Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander staff networks, or other networks and groups that would help you in your role.
