About us Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
About the role Provide high quality advice, minor assistance and casework services in areas such as consumer, mental health, human rights, employment, housing, immigration, social security, and/or coronial inquests, or other areas of civil law. Manage an efficient and effective legal practice including supervision of other staff.
About youWe are looking for experienced solicitors with relevant experience to the work of the Civil Law Division, including lawyers with knowledge of migration and refugee law to work in our recently expanded
Immigration Service.
You are able to manage and support solicitors to ensure delivery of high-quality legal services, contribute to planning and law and policy reform and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
