Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
 
About the role
 
We are looking for a committed individual who has a passion for administrative work to join the Legal Aid NSW Recruitment team. The contract is on a temporary basis up to December 2024 pending operational needs. Further information on the contract end date can be clarified by the hiring manager in interview.
In this role, you will:
  •         Draft and issue employment contracts.
  •         Liaise with internal (e.g., Payroll team, hiring managers, Senior Recruitment Officers) and external stakeholders (candidates) to ensure that recruitment actions are completed accurately and timely.
  •         Deliver a range of recruitment services, including general administration, HR systems maintenance, and the provision of support to the Recruitment team.
 
About you
 
You will have exceptional time management skills to prioritise and deliver competing priorities under a fast-paced environment. You will use your great communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure recruitment actions are completed within a set timeframe. You will have strong attention to detail and passion for administrative tasks to make sure recruitment information is processed and recorded at high accuracy.  
 
Experience in using Taleo, Success Factors, and SAPHR is highly desirable.
 
We may use this recruitment to create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies we have over the next 18 months.
