Moving to a brand new and bigger office in Heidelberg means they are preparing for expansion. So, you are joining at an exciting time!
Your new role
This Senior Bookkeeper position will replace the current post-holder who is leaving after 17 years to retire. You will be working alongside another bookkeeper who has been with the business for over 7 years.
Your duties will include:
- Using Xero for payroll and financial reporting
- Payroll, Workcover and superannuation
- Reviewing employee contracts
- BAS and IAS
- Preparation of financial report including end of month and end of year reporting for the external accountant
- Managing cash-flow
- Supervising the Bookkeeper in their transactional activities
- General journals and report preparation as required
- Bank reconciliations in multiple currencies (USD, EUR and AUD)
What you'll need to succeed
Proven expertise within a Senior Bookkeeping function
Xero ERP system experience is highly regarded, so you can hit the ground running
Up-to-date knowledge of financial compliance, payroll processing, superannuation and Workcover
A growth and innovation mindset, this role currently reports to the CEO, but there is room to add headcount in the future and increase your responsibilities in the organisation
Exposure within tech, medical devices or software would be beneficial but not required
