Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a role that aligns with your values?
Join our Autism Specific Early Learning and Care Centre (ASELCC), a purpose-built environment designed to support Autistic children and their families. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, transdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy as part of a warm and supportive early learning community.
We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist for a 12-month fixed term contract until 15 May 2026. This role is ideal for someone looking for a centre-based role, where you will work closely with children, families, and educators to support developmental goals through play-based learning.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Deliver efficient and effective Speech Pathology services to Autistic children and their families, including planning and delivering assessments and therapy based on outcome measures and evidence-based practice.
- Provide written reports, including recommendations to colleagues, families, and other professionals.
- Manage a caseload through particular focus on customer history, goals, family support and intervention requirements.
- Supervise a small caseload of therapists or students.
What do you need to bring?
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Speech Pathology.
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of a range of developmental delays and disorders.
- Knowledge of relevant clinical assessments, interventions, conceptual frameworks and practice models relevant to children with a disability.
- Previous experience providing speech pathology intervention to children, young people and adults with complex communication needs (desirable).
- Previous experience providing clinical supervision (desirable).
