We are seeking two motivated and experienced Quality & Safety Specialists to join the Rotary arm of our Aviation division. Our helicopters provide specialised mission-critical helicopter services and training for Government, Defence and the civil sector. Safety is an obsession and we have an enviable safety record, with no accidents or major incidents throughout our operating history. We work with our clients to achieve their mission safely, on time and on budget every time. We lead the field in helicopter emergency medical services, search and rescue operations, airborne law enforcement, training and logistics support – often in remote, inhospitable and challenging locations.
As Quality & Safety Specialists, you will join a highly experienced team and will bring your knowledge and experience of Rotary Wing flight operations and CASR Part 119/133/135 to this key role. You will play pivotal part in maintaining and improving our quality, safety, and environmental management systems, ensuring that we continue to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient services. Your remit is to support the development and maintenance of essential safety and quality processes, facilitating corrective action responses, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Rotary Wing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain quality, safety, and environmental processes for Rotary Wing EMS contracts.
Support the timely response to hazards, risks, and non-conformance issues within operations.
Perform root cause analysis, audits, and risk assessments to drive continuous improvement.
Support the company's Supplier Program, including performance assessments and audits.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations.
Facilitate training sessions and contribute to the development of safety and quality materials.
What You Bring:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in quality and safety administration or as a practitioner within a Rotary Wing flight operational environment.
Familiarity with CASR Part 119/133/135 Safety Management System requirements and Work Health and Safety legislation.
Proven experience in leading investigations, audits, and root cause analysis activities.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
Lead Auditor and Safety Investigator qualifications preferred.
A strong focus on solutions and customer outcomes, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team.
