Role Brief
The Sales Support Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting sales initiatives, optimizing the sales process, managing the CRM tool (CW1), and overseeing customer and sales reporting.
As a key contributor to the sales team, this position holder is responsible for leading high-impact projects that drive critical success factors within a professional sales environment.
Additionally, the Sales Support Assistant Manager will take on a team lead role, managing and mentoring a team of sales support executives to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all sales support functions.
The Opportunity
Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of sales support executives.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide necessary training to enhance team.
Work collaboratively with Sales, Commercial and Business Process teams to implement new & existing Sales Initiatives in the country.
Proactively advocate and improve CRM Data Quality.
Analyse Weekly / monthly sales data (Pipeline, Volumes, GP Return on Cost).
Prepare management updates and reports for the Regional Sales Leadership Team.
Support Sales Team while working on bids and submitting their proposals.
Work on ad-hoc requests by the sales team (e.g. sending out Quotations).
What you’ll need to succeed
Prior experience in forwarding sales is highly preferred.
Industry knowledge and familiarity with logistics or freight forwarding operations are essential.
Proactive and capable of handling internal coordination, client support, and follow-ups with the sales team.
Minimal travel requirements; mainly based in the office with occasional client visits if needed.
