Inventory / Planning Manager - South West QLD
Overall Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inventory/Planning Manager to join our team in our new Distribution Centre contract in Southwest Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive operational and resourcing plans through effective management of stock storage levels and targets. This role involves coordinating inventory activities to achieve cost savings, ensuring compliance, and engaging with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Primary Responsibilities and Outputs:
Efficiently manage stock through the warehouse to optimise resource use and achieve business goals.
Enhance Toll's reputation for leading-edge logistics solutions by optimising planning and inventory control procedures for maximum warehouse efficiency.
Foster collaborative and productive long-term relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
Continuously review and report on budgets, expenditure, and financial compliance to meet both customer and Toll’s financial expectations.
Implement and review people strategies to ensure a positive workplace culture that meets organisational and regional compliance requirements.
Ensure the safety culture meets both organisational and regional standards.
What you'll need to succeed:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Inventory and Warehouse Management.
Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing inventory systems.
Proven experience in managing operational budgets.
Strong data analysis and report development skills.
Experience in implementing and managing warehouse logistics technology.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and other office-based technologies.
