Operations Manager – Kemps Creek
The Opportunity
As the Operations Manager in our Retail & Consumer business unit, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational transition to a new, state-of-the-art warehouse facility. This role will manage the warehouse operations of the largest Toll facility in Australia – a 68,000sqm powerhouse of automation, sustainability, and opportunity.
As the Operations Manager, you will:
Execute the logistics services of the warehouse that Toll has committed to its customers through the continual monitoring of the warehouse operations.
Warehouse logistics are successfully and efficiently managed and delivered to customers.
Tolls reputation for leading edge logistics solutions is fostered with customer through managing and encouraging a workplace culture that identifies, implements, and communicates innovative solutions.
Toll’s key stakeholders both internal and external are managed to accomplish goals of both parties resulting in collaborative and productive long-term relationships.
Budgets, expenditure, and financial compliance requirements are continually reviewed and reported to ensure both the customer and Toll’s financial expectations are met.
People strategies are continually implemented and reviewed to ensure a positive workplace culture that meets the organizations and regional compliance requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in in Logistics and Warehouse Management at a similar level.
Demonstrated previous experience in managing large warehouse operations.
Proven experience in successfully managing employee base in a complex industrial industry.
Proven experience in managing operational budgets.
Experience in implementing and Managing Warehouse logistics technology.
Intermediate MS Office skills and other office-based technologies.
Project Management or previous warehouse set up experience is preferable.
