Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.
Being a global organisation managing 13,000 fleet and machinery, we need to ensure that all these machines are efficient and safe for use. The Equipment team is responsible for fleet acquisitions, fleet management, international maintenance and continuous improvement so that Toll can continue to provide service quality.

Job Description / The Role –

Toll Group is seeking an experienced Area Workshop Manager to lead and manage multiple workshops across W.A and S.A and the regions. This role focuses on financial performance, cost efficiency, compliance, workforce resilience and customer satisfaction. You will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality maintenance outcomes that align with our strategic business goals and create long-term value.

Key Accountabilities / A day in the life of an Area Workshop Manager -
Business Planning & Performance: Lead the development and execution of business plans to drive P&L performance, cost control, and continuous operational improvement across all workshop locations.
Innovation & Process Optimisation: Actively challenge the status quo, driving innovation, process optimisation, and operational agility.
Team Resilience: Build resilience within teams by fostering adaptability, clarity of purpose, and proactive performance management.
Stakeholder Management: Proactively manage relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and ensuring positive outcomes through collaboration and negotiation.
People Leadership: Deliver strong people leadership by coaching, developing, and holding teams accountable to high standards.
Industrial Relations: Support industrial relations processes, contributing to union negotiations and workforce engagement strategies.
Change Management: Ensure change initiatives are implemented safely and effectively, with a strong focus on maintaining service continuity and employee engagement.
Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive operational leadership experience within transport, logistics, fleet maintenance, or related industrial sectors.
Proven capability in managing multi-site or national operations, including high-value workshop or fleet maintenance functions.
Strong track record in business planning, cost management, and driving P&L performance.
Practical understanding of unionised workforces, including direct involvement in industrial relations and enterprise agreement implementation.
Deep understanding of supply chain impacts on workshop operations, including procurement, inventory control, and supplier management.
Demonstrated ability to challenge traditional practices, implement change, and drive continuous improvement across multiple teams and regions.
