Transitions Consultant – Forrestfield WA
The Opportunity
The significant focus of this position is related to ensuring services are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements. This includes arranging and completing on site visits to clients’ residences to determine the scope and complexity of their move/transfer through inventory analysis, customer service visits, loss and damage assessments, store house and supplier visits/inspections.
This position supports the Regional and RSC Management with the day-to-day management of the Defence Account including reporting, invoicing and presentation to Clients, Customers and Providers.
Get your foot in the door into the world of Government and Defence, where you'll be on the road visiting Defence personnel in their homes getting them ready for their relocation.
Duties and Responsibilities / A day in the life of the Transitions Consultant –
Develop strong relationships with Providers, establishing mechanisms of review and promote innovative solutions to ensure the successful delivery of contract requirements.
Have a working knowledge of the contractual documentation relating to RS Providers including, SOR and Minimum Standards.
Understanding the culture of the key clients and ensuring swift response and resolution of any service delivery issues.
Promoting and encouraging a safe working environment, assisting in ensuring a fit-for-purpose move by conducting safety conversations and gaining customer satisfaction.
Liaise with Case Managers and Leadership team regarding any/all day-to-day service issues.
Have a working knowledge of the contractual documentation relating to RS Providers including, SOR and Minimum Standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to deal with sensitive information and work autonomously.
Spatial estimation skills combined with a good understanding of industry loading, packing and handling practises.
Customer service experience displaying empathy, patience and listening skills.
Knowledge of the Transitions industry and terms such as notices, loads, volumes, etc.
Ability to establish and maintain effective support and rapport with personnel at all levels.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships and influence.
