About the Role:
Our client is seeking two dynamic and motivated APS6 Service Designers to join their Business Architect team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformative projects within the disability ecosystem, working on service improvements that make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with service design squads to ensure alignment and coordination across projects.
- Provide administrative support including, booking meetings, writing papers, content editing, and JIRA project coordination.
- Facilitate and support workshops, including minute taking.
- Develop and maintain service design artefacts such as journey maps, service blueprints, personas, and affinity maps.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and synthesize insights, solving complex, human-centered design problems.
- Advocate for the voice and experience of participants and stakeholders.
- Work within a low maturity/hybrid Agile environment, adapting to new ways of working and navigating through ambiguity and uncertainty.
Skills and Experience:
Must Have:
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and collaborative digital design tools (Creately, Figma, Miro, Mural).
- Demonstrated experience in service design, including the creation of service design artefacts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a changing environment.
- Excellent communication, synthesis, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
- Capacity to drive Human-Centered Design-led thinking.
- Qualitative and quantitative research capabilities.
Desirable:
- Prior knowledge and experience in disability, social services, or the public sector.
- Experience with Jira (or similar project management tools) and SharePoint.
- Lived experience of disability through own or observed experience.
