Your new role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Digital (IT/OT) Service Management Specialist to join the mining team. In this role, you will assist in the effective control of production-related hardware and software solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of our mine production systems and operations centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Level Agreements: Provide administration and management of mine production system vendor service level agreements.
- Operational Applications: Support and maintain operational applications, and participate in the design, testing, and improvement of applications that are part of the mine production system and operations centre.
- System Health Monitoring: Monitor and control the health of vital business functions within the operations centre, including bandwidth, servers, tablets, LTE, on-board telemetry, and switches.
- Incident/Event Management: Collaborate with IT functions to ensure business continuity plans are in place and effective.
- Information Security Management: Work with IT functions to ensure adherence to all relevant security policies, standards, and procedures, including ISO27001 and IEC62443.
- Knowledge Management: Participate in the definition and maintenance of process manuals for all processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience in an underground mining environment.
- Experience or willingness to learn mine SCADA & PLC.
- Experience in LTE, Telemetry and switches
- Valid Manual Driver’s license.
