We are seeking a highly skilled Management Consultant for an immediate requirement in QLD. This is FIFO from either Brisbane or Townsville, where you will be on site Monday-Thursday and Friday working from home. In this critical role, you will leverage your expertise to analyse and improve business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive strategic initiatives that align with client objectives and industry standards. As a Management Consultant, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable recommendations that address complex business challenges and support sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analyses of clients' operational processes and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate optionality and mine planning
- Equipment and mine cycle optimisation
- Workshop changes to business processes for new operating strategy
- Organisation build for revised business processes
- Stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment ownership to proposed changes
- Capture opportunity and work plans
- Run analysis and deep dive key cost drivers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mining, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting within the Mining industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements affecting the mining sector.
