About the role:
As a Field Technician, you will play a key role in supporting field operations and ensuring the efficient repair and maintenance of water-main systems in a variety of environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery such as backhoes and front loaders to complete tasks efficiently.
Perform water-main repairs and other civil construction activities.
Maintain and repair essential components of machinery and equipment.
Work in various outdoor environments and follow all safety procedures.
Manage daily tasks and report on progress to supervisors.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, including the possession of a valid White Card.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current MR or HC (Heavy Combination) licence.
Proven experience in civil construction, particularly water-main repair.
Competency in operating machinery such as backhoes and front loaders.
A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
Strong skills in repairing and maintaining essential components and equipment.
Willingness and clearance to work in diverse environments.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to complete tasks on time.
- A Police Check issued within 6 months, and a traffic check
