The Role
We are looking for three Planning and Scheduling Managers, you will play an integral role working on site with construction teams one of our 3 Amazon Data Centre projects, based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. You will take ownership of the project from a planning point of view in this standalone position. You will develop and maintain integrated project plans and programs, whilst ensuring modifications to the schedule and their impacts are known & understood.
In this role on a day-to-day basis, you can expect to:
Provide strategic & operational assistance in the analysis (e.g. risk, spreadsheet, resources, curves) and monitoring of programs, also contributing to the development of plans, programs and reports.
Maintain and update the Project Master Schedule and other site schedules using your experience to identify opportunities at all levels.
Regular reporting on program to Key stakeholders.
Perform planning activities which may include undertaking research and document preparation to provide support within established planning guidelines.
Operate as a subject matter expert, maintaining, updating and creating plans, reports, charts, schedules, databases and records to provide up to date and accurate information for decision making.
Work collaboratively across a broad range of stakeholders, communicating critical information clearly & concisely.
Skills Required:
5+ years’ experience, in building and/or construction project planning, scheduling, project controls and program benchmarking
Must have experience planning complex building projects
Ideally a background from a leading main contractor environment
Advanced P6 skills
Be able to graphically represent the program methodology, and be confident to present and communicate the program
Relevant tertiary qualifications
High level of interpersonal, communication and people skills.
High attention to detail, excellent organisational and time management skills with problem solving ability.
