Ventia are currently looking to engage an experienced Finance Administrator with SAP/ARIBA purchase order experience to provide Administrative and Financial services to the site management and personnel for the Department of Transport based at Fremantle. This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday.
About the role
- Raising Purchase orders
- Assisting & facilitating the Payroll process & Work Hours recording process within our range of contracts
- Building a network across the F&A group and maintain cross-functional relationships with Central support functions and other Business Services teams
- Administration within SAP of work orders. Procurement of office consumables, assisting with booking travel for the operational team.
- Maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of standard end to end processes in scope and systems, including handover points with other functions
- Dealing with vendor queries and assisting vendors with ARIBA claims.
- Creating, implementing and continuous review of operational procedures to facilitate the finance function including ownership of various responsibilities within the group
- Accounts Payable oversight & support of higher-level reconciliations and issues
- Assisting with month end process.
Requirements
- Min 2yrs experience in a simliar role
- Sound IT skills (SAP/Ariba, Microsoft Applications)
- Proven experience in Procure-to-Pay functions and knowledge of Time entry & management (Payroll), Purchasing, and Reporting
- Proven experience in a relatable Finance & Administration role for a large corporation
- High performance culture & ability to prioritise work effectively
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to show initiative & drive adherence to processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy
