About the Role
As a Leasehand, you’ll play an important support role in day-to-day rig operations. Think of it like a Trade Assistant job—but in the heart of Australia’s energy sector. You’ll be moving gear, helping clean and maintain the site, and backing up the crew where needed.
What You’ll Gain
- Formal qualification: Earn a Certificate II in Oil & Gas (Onshore) Drilling and Well Servicing
- Hands-on experience in a practical, team-based environment
- Ongoing training and mentoring from experienced professionals

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in rigging up and down of site equipment
- Support with manual labour and equipment prep
- Keep work areas clean, safe and functional
- Help with general site maintenance and upkeep

Who We’re Looking For
- Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Willing to travel to Toowoomba (point of hire)
- Holds a manual driver’s licence (C Class or higher)
- Comfortable with outdoor, physical work in remote locations
- Brings a positive attitude and teamwork mindset
- Able to commit to 12-hour shifts on a 15/13 FIFO roster
