The Role
Ventia is seeking an experienced Civil Project Lead to oversee a key maintenance contract in the Pilbara. In this role, you'll manage daily operations, coordinate project activities, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Your leadership will drive performance, efficiency, and safety, supporting the long-term success of critical infrastructure.
These positions are casual ongoing roles, working 12hours days on 2:1 roster, with flights from Perth Airport and accommodation provided onsite. Shutdown works may require you to work either day shift or night shift.
The pay rate for this position is $90.00 per hour flat rate (including casual loading and allowances).

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead planning & execution of maintenance & civil infrastructure projects within scope, budget & timeline
- Oversee project activities, resources, & schedules to ensure efficient & timely delivery of maintenance & construction objectives
- Manage project activities, resources, and schedules for timely delivery
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution & address site issues
- Promote a strong safety culture through audits, risk assessments, & toolbox talks
- Serve as primary liaison between Ventia & clients, contractors, & on-site teams
- Develop & manage project schedules to monitor progress & ensure successful outcomes
Requirements:
- WA Driver’s Licence
- Experience using the MS Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook etc)
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Civil operations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Strong understanding of maintenance operations, including planning, scheduling, and executing projects
