About the role: UGL are seeking an experienced E&I Engineer to join our team on an ongoing basis working on a major Oil & Gas project. Commencing ASAP, you will be working a 5/2 roster within Perth CBD, point of hire is Perth, WA. This position requires a proactive, solutions-focused professional with strong technical acumen and the ability to guide and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure technical compliance and drive the successful achievement of project outcomes. - Actively promote and contribute to a safe, productive, and positive working environment. - Provide clear guidance to the Workpacking team, ensuring consistent and aligned delivery. - Interpret and apply UGL and Client technical data to support execution. - Identify, develop, and present efficiency improvement opportunities for approval and implementation. - Navigate technical uncertainties by consulting with UGL execution teams and client representatives to reach mutually acceptable solutions. - Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables are clearly understood and met. - Lead educational sessions and technical meetings to embed Industry and Project Standards across the team. - Tackle day-to-day challenges with a forward-thinking approach and escalate potential risks or incidents appropriately. - Review and contribute to upcoming scopes of work, ensuring safe and compliant execution from design through to completion. - Ensure all activities comply with UGL's systems and processes, as well as State and Federal regulations. About you: - Proven experience in a Engineering role within a construction or project environment. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Commissioning and systems completion experience - Strong knowledge of technical documentation, compliance standards, and stakeholder engagement - Proficiency in project management software and tools. - High level proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Excel including complex data manipulation and analysis. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. - Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
