UGL is an employer with a difference, jump on board and experience our incredible journey About the role The P&C Manager provides strategic guidance and advice, and the delivery and management of the end-to-end HR | IR and Recruitment deliverables for 2 of our growth business units – Utilities O&M and Telco. Leading a small national team, this role will deliver the People strategy through the management of P&C policies, procedures & systems, deliver operational services and support the organisational culture of the business through a period of growth. - Lead the development and implementation of the P&C strategy, in alignment with the overall business strategy - Work closely with the GMs and Lead teams to provide support and guidance around the people strategy - Lead, manage and coach a small team of P&C professionals - Support the implementation of people management programs for the business sector e.g. Workforce Planning, Performance Review, Remuneration Planning, Succession Planning, and Talent Profiling - Provide timely and accurate P&C/ER/IR advice to managers and employees on a range of P&C issues including renumeration, retention initiatives, succession planning, organisational change, and a range of employment and employee relation matters The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. About you - Tertiary HRM qualifications, or equivalent years of experience - Solid experience as a HR Practitioner from an organisation with an engineering and operations framework and multiple site locations - Solid working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including remuneration and benefits, employee relations, performance management, recruitment and selection, training and development, talent management, organisation development and change management - Solid experience in EBA and blue-collar workforce management - Proven experience in developing a team underneath you UGL – Big projects.
