The Opportunity The Senior Bid Manager is a national role within our Rail & Technology Systems business, and is accountable for leading and supporting pre-tender activities, business initiatives and tender delivery to achieve business growth and budget objectives. This is a key strategic role to ensure UGL is well positioned with clients, partners, subcontractors and internal/external stakeholders to maximise our win strategies. Key responsibilities - Manage opportunities from initial identification, strategy development and pursuit management through to tender preparation and contract negotiation - Participate in business development activities to ensure long- and short-term budget objectives relating to revenue and market share are achieved. - Establish contact with potential clients and partners and maintain existing relationships - Prepare and make presentations to potential clients & partners and key stakeholders - Ensure tender submissions are professionally accurate and do not expose UGL to risk and reflect the Company’s current market objectives - Periodically work at other local company, client or partner officers, with occasional interstate travel as part of the role - Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives and tasks as directed Ideal attributes The following Ideal attributes are highly desired, but if you do not tick all the boxes, you could still be a great fit.
