The Role
Reporting to the Information Services
Manager and based in Windsor, NSW, this role is responsible for providing
specialist expertise in ERP systems and leading the Corporate Applications Team
that supports Council’s TechnologyOne Suite. The position also oversees project
management for corporate system upgrades, implementations, and ongoing
maintenance, while contributing significantly to the development of the
Information Services Strategy, plans, policies, and procedures.
About You
You bring demonstrated experience leading, providing direction,
and motivating a team of staff to achieve performance outcomes. You will have
proven experience in IT operations and support, complemented by strong planning
and coordination skills to manage work schedules and meet deadlines. You
perform effectively under pressure, demonstrate flexibility in working
additional hours at short notice, and take full ownership of issues through to
resolution. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively translate
and deliver complex technical information to both technical and non-technical
staff.
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science,
Information Technology or related and/or relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated IT operating and support
experience
- Strong process planning and project management
experience
- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
and ability to follow through issues to resolution
- Ability to document and review processes and
procedures
- Professional interpersonal skills with
demonstrated ability to liaise with and influence staff and management at all
levels
- Demonstrated experience leading, providing
direction, and motivating a team of staff to achieve performance outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualise, plan,
design and deliver multiple / concurrent projects on time and within budget
- Proven understanding of requirements for
database connectivity and product integration
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Successful applicants will be required to
undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
