The Opportunity
Working within
our Data and Technology team, the Digital Futures Graduate is a full-time,
entry-level position centred around supporting Manningham Council’s key
IT functions, including ServiceDesk, Applications Support, Information
Management, and Cybersecurity/AI.
Key activities of
this role include:
- Rotate
across core IT areas: ServiceDesk, Applications Support, Information
Management, and Cybersecurity/AI, building practical skills with modern, AI‑enabled tools.
- Help
ship changes: assist with application deployments, updates, projects and user
support.
- Lift
information Quality: support information management initiatives, including data
integrity and digital records.
- Strengthen
Security: participate in cyber awareness activities and basic security
monitoring.
- Improve
how we work: contribute to documentation, knowledge base articles, and process
improvements.
- Support
the implementation of new technologies and digital tools.

About You
- You
would have recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, Information
Systems or similar (within the last 2 years).
- You
are curious about emerging technologies; keen to explore different IT career
paths through a structured rotation.
- You
are a clear communicator with a customer focus; comfortable working with staff
at all levels and explaining new digital/AI solutions in plain English.
- Enjoy
challenges and are a proactive learner who adapts quickly, takes initiative,
and contributes to team goals.
- Highly
organised and detail‑oriented; maintains accurate records
and follows ITIL‑based processes for incidents, requests
and changes.
- Feel
comfortable in working independently or as a part of a team.
