What this role looks like:
• Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for council assets across all asset classes.
• Liaise with various departments/staff to ensure maintenance activities are planned and delivered efficiently.
• Assist with the prioritisation of maintenance activities based on urgency, safety and resource availability.
• Develop and run reports to monitor expenditure against budget and report any variances.
• Collect and analyse data related to maintenance activities, asset and staff performance to inform maintenance planning.
• Assist with the development and issue of tenders and request for quotations.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
• Demonstrated experience in a relevant area i.e. engineering, construction or building
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of ISO5000 Asset Management Standards
• Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW
• White Card - General Construction Induction (or willing to obtain)
• Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering or Asset Management (or currently studying)
