ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
Reporting to the Supervisor Concrete Construction and Drainage, the Construction Carpenter delivers high-quality concrete construction and carpentry works in accordance with Council requirements, standards, and regulations.
This role requires a relevant trade qualification, experience across a range of concrete construction functions, and a strong focus on quality and safety. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to achieving daily and project objectives while supporting positive outcomes for the community.
To be successful you will bring

- Certificate III in formwork/falsework (or similar/equivalent)
- Proven experience undertaking concrete and drainage construction comprising formwork, rebar, concrete placement and finishing.
- Demonstrated ability to direct and supervise a team (including contractors and apprentices).
- Demonstrated digital literacy with experience with experience and competence in computer and devices (eg tablet, iPhone) applications.
- Demonstrated ability to organise work, set priorities and work independently.
- Work Safely in the Construction Industry Induction ticket (white card).
- Class LR driver licence with the ability to operate manual transmission and a good and safe driving record..

- A salary range of $65,800 to $75,500 per annum (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
