Make a real, visible impact across Georges River Local Area by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of key public spaces.
As a valued member of Georges River Council’s City Presentation team, you’ll help keep our community looking its best by maintaining the cleanliness, safety and presentation of public‑facing hard surfaces across the LGA—including buildings, footpaths, signage and other outdoor infrastructure. This hands‑on role is performed in the early morning and suits someone who enjoys working autonomously, managing their own schedule, and staying alert and safe in a variety of outdoor environments. You will also carry out daily inspections, deep cleaning and maintenance of Council‑owned assets, ensuring they meet Council, industry and regulatory standards.
What We Can Offer You
- Permanent, Full-Time - 76 hours per fortnight
- Salary from $59,666.56 - $69,070.89 per annum plus allowance plus 12% superannuation (dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate)

The successful candidate will have
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Demonstrated experience working within a maintenance crew
- Proven ability to work unsupervised and exercise sound judgment including in relation to personal safety
- Experience in providing maintenance services and a demonstrated ability to be accountable for agreed work methods, standard and outcomes
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of plant and/or various equipment common to cleansing and maintenance
- Understanding of and commitment to WHS practices and EEO principles
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Appropriate written and oral communication skills
Shift Requirements
- Roster includes 3:30am starts and two 2:00am early starts per fortnight
