Disability Services Relief Care Coordinator - Community based
Join our Disability Services team and help deliver person‑centred support to participants across East Arnhem Land. This casual role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working across multiple remote communities. You’ll provide essential operational support that keeps our services running smoothly and makes a real difference every day.
What you’ll do: - Coordinate day‑to‑day operations to ensure effective service delivery.
- Oversee staff performance, recruitment, attendance, and timesheet processes.
- Manage care plans, budgets, resources, and assessments in line with NDIS and aged‑care requirements.
- Collaborate with the Aged Care & Disability Services Operations Coordinator to support high‑quality participant care.
- Maintain safe work practices, complete required reporting, and uphold compliance with policies and legislation.
What we’re looking for: - A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- A minimum Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of NDIS legislation and person‑centred care principles.
- Experience supervising staff and managing documentation, data, and deadlines.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working in or with remote Australian First Nations communities is highly beneficial.
- First Aid, CPR certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and must hold C class driving licence
