Operations Crew Member - Open Spaces
Permanent full-time
38 hours a week + Rostered day off + Additional Allowance applicable as per the Award
Salary: $62,018.32 - $72,075.38 + 12% Superannuation per annum

What you'll do
As our Operations Crew Member, you'll report to the Team Leader Open Spaces CBD and deliver a range of open space maintenance, construction and presentation tasks that support safe, clean and attractive public spaces across the Shire. You'll be involved in undertaking general labouring, mowing, horticultural, landscaping, sanitation and cleaning activities as part of a multi skilled team, ensuring works are completed efficiently safely and to Council's quality standards.

What you'll need (Essential Criteria)
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual labour and safely operate small plant and hand tools.
- Basic understanding of horticultural or landscape maintenance principles
- Ability to follow directions, work effectively in a team and complete tasks to standard.
- Awareness of safe work practices, manual handling and WHS obligations
- Basic literacy and digital skills to use mobile devices and job tracking systems.
- Current Class C Drivers licence and White Card
Other Requirements
- Complete a pre-employment medical prior to commencement
- Complete immunisation record of Hepatitis A, B and Tetanus or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- Participate in on-call roster and overtime (where applicable)
