About the role
As a Value Stream Manager, you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery and continuous improvement of IT services across a defined value stream supporting Toll’s warehouse and transport operations. Acting as the primary escalation point for IT matters, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, service providers and technology leaders to ensure consistent, high‑quality service outcomes, strong governance and excellent customer experience.
A day in the life of a Value Stream Manager
- Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations across warehouse and transport sites, ensuring service quality and stability
- Act as the first point of escalation for IT issues within the value stream and drive timely resolution
- Build strong onsite relationships with operational stakeholders through regular site visits
- Track, analyse and report on service performance, risks and KPIs
- Coordinate service improvements using data, insights and ITSM best practices
- Communicate IT changes, incidents and improvement initiatives across the business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (Master’s preferred)
- IT Service Management certification (e.g. ITIL) – preferred
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI) – advantageous
Skills & experience
- Extensive experience in IT service management, governance and performance improvement
- Highly experienced in supply chain or logistics environment (Blue Yonder, WMS highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks, service operations and escalation management
- Experience with infrastructure, integration platforms and end‑user computing (M365, SharePoint) Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement across complex, multi‑vendor environments
This role is onsite and involves regular travel to operational sites, with occasional domestic or international travel.
