Earnings and Benefits
Base Salary $75,418 to $89,620 (avg 36 hours per week, 9-day fortnight), + 16.5% super + allowances and additional benefits. Total typical earnings $98,022 to $143,346 per annum (This is an estimate based on most common amounts paid last year, and not a guarantee of future earnings).
About the role
Our Transmission Team is looking for experienced tradespeople to join their specialist team, with two exciting opportunities available—one at our Narellan Field Service Centre and one at our Springhill Field Service Centre. In this role, you will be actively involved in the construction, refurbishment, and maintenance of Protection and SCADA schemes across Zone and Transmission substations, as well as the broader distribution network.
You will also have the opportunity to undertake external works through our trusted partners or in other regions as needed, gaining a diverse range of experience and exposure to a variety of projects. This is your chance to contribute your expertise in a dynamic team, working on essential infrastructure that keeps our network safe, reliable, and future-ready.

To be successful, you must meet the following criteria:
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
- Have experience in, or a sound understanding of, the construction and maintenance of Zone and Transmission Substations Protection & Scada schemes
- Possess highly developed awareness of safety issues relating to work in a HV Substation environment
- Have proven ability to work effectively in a small team environment
- Be self-motivated and willing to undertake training as required
- Class C Drivers Licence
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working in a HV environment
- Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering
