Your new role
In your new role you will be based out of the Toowoomba office full-time, or remotely/part-time between the Brisbane and Toowoomba offices. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of construction contracts and subcontracts
- Monitoring contract performance and ensuring adherence to contractual terms and conditions
- Coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders to address contractual issues and mitigate risks
- Maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and record-keeping systems
- Providing support and guidance to project teams
- Assist with progress claim and variation preparation and control
- Raise, issue and close out purchase orders
- Purchase order and invoice reconciliation
- Administration of the project HSE system
What you'll need to succeed
- 3 + years of experience as a Contracts Administrator in the commercial construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontracts, and related legal principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- MS projects (required), Cheops (desirable).
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve contractual issues
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate contract records and documentation
