This is a full-time 12-month contract, located in Parkes. Starting base annual salary of $61,912 to $68,908 negotiable based on experience, plus super, plus access to generous salary packaging options.

About the opportunity:
At Uniting, we work to inspire people, enliven communities, and confront injustice. We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Regional Administration Officer to join our Western NSW team, based in Parkes.
In this pivotal role, you’ll provide quality administrative support to programs and staff across the region. You’ll manage a diverse range of tasks—from minute-taking, travel bookings and maintaining spreadsheets, to supporting finance processes and assisting with event coordination. You’ll be part of a team that ensures services run smoothly for those who need them most.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Deliver high-quality, portfolio-based administrative support across programs
- Coordinate office systems and assist with inductions, property maintenance, and safety procedures
- Support financial processes including invoice payments and petty cash
- Maintain excellent customer service when liaising with clients and service providers
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and collaborative work environment
Your Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in administration
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and document production
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management
- A team player mindset with the ability to work independently
- Passion for supporting community services and positive social change
- A current NSW Driver’s licence and current NSW WWCC
