About the Team
The Customer Compliance Performance team is undergoing significant transformation, creating exciting new opportunities to join at a pivotal time, where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact. This team provides specialist compliance expertise to the Customer Business Unit, supporting effective compliance management and ensuring EnergyAustralia’s regulatory obligations, governance systems, processes, and frameworks meet both industry standards and customer expectations. About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Compliance Performance Team, as a Compliance Capability Lead. In this role, you will design and deliver targeted compliance training programs that build knowledge, uplift capability, and support regulatory adherence across the Customer Business Unit. Working closely with key stakeholders, this role ensures training is strategically aligned, data-informed, and continuously improved to meet business needs and compliance priorities. Other aspects of the role include:
- Working closely with Compliance Performance Business Partnership and People and Culture Teams to develop the training strategy for the Customer Business Unit
- Design, deliver, and evaluate compliance training programs to uplift Compliance knowledge and capability across the Customer Business Unit teams
- Collaborate with broader Compliance Performance team, Regulatory Compliance, Legal and the Customer Business Unit to identify training needs and tailor learning approaches.
- Regularly review testing and incident data to identify areas for focussed training and develop and deliver bespoke training as needed.
- Support compliance projects and initiatives to ensure training is developed and delivered as part of effective change management
- Ensure accurate data capture related to compliance training in the relevant Learning Management system
- Facilitate training feedback and evaluation reports to inform improvement opportunities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience working in a learning & development role, preferably with a focus on compliance or risk management. Other things we’re keen on include:
- Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating effective learning experiences tailored to various audiences and delivery formats
- A solid understanding of regulatory obligations and risk concepts relevant to the energy industry is highly desirable
- Organised and detail focussed, with the ability to effectively manage initiatives and projects
- Continuous improvement mindset, staying informed on learning & development trends and seeking feedback to improve
