We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the Aged Care leadership team as the Residential Services Strategic Initiatives Manager. In this permanent full-time role (possible Permanent part time for the right candidate), you will lead the development and implementation of key strategic projects to enhance the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of our residential aged care services.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to a very experienced General Manager Residential Services, this role leads strategic initiatives to improve care quality, performance, and compliance within Residential Services. Focused solely on aged care operations, it translates strategy into action, aligning with frontline needs and sector standards. A key opportunity to drive meaningful change and enhance outcomes for residents and care teams.
- Implement initiatives that directly improve service quality, operational effectiveness, and regulatory readiness across Residential Services.
- Translate divisional goals into practical, measurable deliverables.
- Coordinate the execution of initiatives to ensure timely and sustainable outcomes.
- Collaborate with Regional Operations Managers, Centre Managers, and other stakeholders to support consistent adoption of initiatives.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to enable integrated service improvement.
- Monitor progress, identify barriers, and proactively manage risks to delivery.
- Evaluate impact and use data to inform continuous refinement.
- Report on initiative outcomes, learnings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Mobilise the resources, tools, and documentation required to support initiative delivery.
- Ensure efficient information sharing and visibility across relevant teams.
- Contribute to a culture of improvement through knowledge transfer and collaboration.
ABOUT YOU
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- Strong understanding of residential aged care operations, systems, and compliance frameworks
- Expert knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and sector reform agendas
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience leading change in aged care or health and coordinate improvement initiatives
- Understanding of aged care workforce models or service reform environments
- Financial and resource coordination capabilities
- Proven ability to work both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Hold a valid Driver’s License
