The Role:
The Administration Assistant is a vital part of the Brisbane City Homelessness Services team, providing essential administrative support to both management and staff.
This role ensures the efficient day-to-day running of the office through strong communication, organisation, and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support to facilitate smooth site operations under the guidance of the Line Manager.
- Prepare accurate and professional documents, correspondence, and presentations as needed.
- Schedule and organise meetings, including preparing and distributing agendas and minutes.
- Support financial processes such as data entry, invoice management, and communication with suppliers.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Manage procurement of office supplies and staff equipment, ensuring timely ordering and follow-up.
Must have :
- Current QLD Working with Children Check.
- Certificate or qualification in Business Administration (or equivalent), or demonstrated relevant experience and skills.
- Proven success in a similar administrative role.
- At least 2 years of experience working with various systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current Queensland Driver’s Licence.
