- Full-time, continuing position
- Located at the picturesque Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas
- HEWL 10A - $131,469 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits
- 3% pay increase on 1 July and a further 2.75% on 31 December 2025
- This position is identified for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Head of Indigenous Learning Support Services, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership of an innovative learning support service for Indigenous students that is unique to JCU. You'll lead a passionate and dedicated team, build partnerships across the university and with external stakeholders, and use data analytics to continuously improve programs that achieve national education goals.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
We're seeking an experienced leader with extensive knowledge of the Indigenous student journey in degree programs, a deep understanding of how to build capacities of learners to succeed, and proven experience in delivering measurable improvements for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. You'll have exceptional communication abilities and postgraduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience.
