Toll Group is looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, Environment Advisor to join our team and make a positive impact across our warehouse operations in Perth.
This is a true opportunity for professional development and growth with a set trajectory for a high achiever. Were looking for an individual with no less than 2 years experience in an Occupational Health and Safety role, preferably in high-risk organizations like road transport and has the ability to gain a NV1 clearance. You will possess excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills underpinned by a minimum Certificate 4 in Workplace Health and Safety with Audit qualifications highly regarded.
As the HSE Advisor, you will:
Support HSSEQ Team: Drive proactive implementation and continual improvement of HSSEQ culture, strategy, plan, and performance.
Provide Practical Advice: Offer HSSEQ advice and support to sites, delivering initiatives to improve HSSEQ culture.
Enable Leadership: Assist site leadership teams in implementing Toll HSSEQ strategy.
Develop Improvement Plans: Contribute to year-on-year improvement plans for HSSEQ KPIs and foster an Incident Injury Free culture.
Technical Support: Prevent incidents and injuries through expert HSSEQ technical support.
Drive Organizational Change: Support positive HSSEQ culture changes and help achieve objectives and targets.
Implement Management Systems: Aid business leaders in successfully implementing Toll HSSEQ Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management: Manage HSSEQ risk management processes.
Governance: Support site involvement in HSSEQ governance, including audits and incident management.
Compliance: Challenge non-compliance issues and ensure resolution according to legislative standards.
Reporting and Analysis: Undertake HSSEQ reporting, data analysis, and technical work.
Training: Provide advice on training to ensure HSSEQ competencies are met.
Documentation: Review HSSEQ documentation for currency and application.
Risk Assessments: Facilitate risk assessments and maintain risk registers.
Qualifications:
Certificate 4 in Workplace Health and Safety (required)
Lead Auditor or Auditor qualifications (preferred).
Incident Investigation (preferred).
Facilitating risk assessments (preferred).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desired).
Car licence (required).
