As a result of expanding scope of works within UGL’s portfolio, we are seeking to recruit a Trades Assistant / Work Execution Officer, to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the Darwin RAAF Base in the NT. This would be an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the security requirements of the Nation. The Role Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at Darwin RAAF Base, Northern Territory, supporting surrounding locations with occasional regional travel. You will be a part of a core crew of UGL technicians. These duties will include, but not limited to; - Scoping mechanical and electrical work activities - Procurement of materials and creation of work packs - Management of maintenance documentation on Computerised Maintenance Management System - Coordination of contractors including obtaining quotes and documentation - Assisting maintenance technicians in field works - Support various sites in the region, with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout NT - General administration & ad hoc duties as required What you Need You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer.
