As a Technology Service Desk Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support across Council — responsible for triaging incoming requests, resolving Level 1 technical issues, and assisting staff with system access, devices, and everyday technology use.

The Technology Service Desk Officer is responsible for:
- Providing frontline (Level 1) IT support across Council’s systems, platforms, and devices
- Triaging, logging, prioritising, and assigning incidents and service requests through the Service Desk platform
- Troubleshooting common issues related to access, devices, applications, and connectivity
- Monitoring system status and escalating complex issues to Level 2 support where required
- Assisting with the setup, deployment, and basic maintenance of end-user hardware and peripherals
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- NSW Drivers Licence
- Certificate in Information Technology or similar relevant experience

Salary range: Grade 13 - $89,214.50 - $96,537.04 per annum including 12% superannuation for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
