We are seeking dynamic and motivated Information Management Analysts and Officers to play a key role in shaping the future of information governance across the City. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the implementation of the City’s Information Management Governance Framework — a critical initiative to strengthen how we manage, use, and protect information.
In these roles, you will support the City in building robust information management capability by delivering enabling technology solutions, improving processes, and embedding best practices through targeted training and support. Your work will help ensure that information is treated as a strategic asset, empowering better decision-making and enhancing service delivery for our community.

Information Management Officer
$88,388 – $93,602
- Training & Support: Deliver records and information management training, provide help desk support, and build staff capability across the organisation.
- Business Improvement: Contribute to projects and initiatives that drive innovation, efficiency, and strategic alignment in records and information management.
- Compliance & Governance: Maintain procedures, monitor legislative compliance, and stay informed of developments in government and State Records Office initiatives.
- Information Management Operations: Manage core records functions, administer the EDRMS and disposal programs, and represent the City in relevant forums and user groups.
Information Management Analyst
$98,141 – $103,949
- Training & Education: Design and deliver targeted training programs to enhance recordkeeping knowledge and competency across all levels of staff in an evolving digital environment.
- Business Improvement & Project Delivery: Lead and support strategic information management initiatives by analysing current processes, recommending improvements, and driving innovation through best practice, workflow development, and system optimisation.
- Support & Customer Service: Provide high-level help desk support, liaise with business units to resolve recordkeeping issues, and ensure service delivery meets corporate performance standards.
- Compliance & Governance: Advise on legislative compliance, maintain policy and procedures, administer the City’s archival and disposal program, and optimise EDRMS functionality in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
If you have a tertiary qualification in Information Management or related discipline with relevant experience, we welcome your application.
