About the role
Join the City of Coffs Harbour as a casual Learn to Swim Instructor and play a key role in delivering high-standard, inclusive aquatic programs that build vital swimming and water safety skills across all age groups. You'll lead lessons aligned with the swim school curriculum, provide clear demonstrations, and offer targeted feedback to help students progress. This role supports a high-performance, team-oriented environment where your teaching skills and ability to connect with learners are valued. To be part of our team, you will have the flexibility to work Monday - Saturday during school terms and at the City's three pool locations across Coffs Harbour, Sawtell and Woolgoolga (both indoor and outdoor).

About you
Qualified applicants will hold a recognised swimming and water safety teaching accreditation, along with current CPR certification, a paid WWCC, and a readiness to obtain a National Police Check. You'll need strong fitness, quick response capability, and solid situational awareness to ensure safety at all times. Independent work skills and effective communication are key, especially in a public-facing, team-driven environment. The ability to plan and lead safe, engaging lessons is essential.
