About the role
The City of Coffs Harbour is hiring several casual Pool Lifeguards for the upcoming season. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patrons, responding quickly to incidents, and maintaining clean, well-functioning aquatic facilities. If you have strong water safety skills, a calm and focused presence, and the qualifications to lead in a public-facing environment, we'd love to have you on board.
To be part of our team, you will have the flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster and at the City's three pool locations in Woolgoolga, Coffs Harbour and Sawtell.

About you
Successful candidates will hold a current NSW Pool Lifeguard Certificate, CPR and First Aid accreditation, a valid paid WWCC (not applicable to those under 18yrs), and a willingness to obtain a National Police Check. Strong fitness, rescue readiness and situational awareness are essential, along with the ability to respond swiftly and work independently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills round out this high-responsibility, public-facing role.
Not fully qualified? There are potential opportunities for successful candidates to receive a subsidy to complete their training.
