Your new job Mid-Western Regional Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Mortimer Street Mudgee Precinct Development planning project. This senior role involves managing all aspects of the project including consultant procurement, stakeholder consultation, business case development, design and planning approvals – all within the framework of a major Commonwealth/State grant funding agreement. We’re looking for someone with strong project and stakeholder management skills, ideally with experience in planning, infrastructure or property development. You’ll need to navigate funding compliance, coordinate internal and external professionals, and drive outcomes that support vibrant, inclusive regional growth. You - You have a Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum three years’ experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in planning, infrastructure, or property development.
- You have the proven ability to manage business case development, feasibility assessments, and planning/design processes.
- You have an understanding of local and state government development approval pathways.
- You have experience in consultant procurement, contract management, and project reporting.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
- You have high-level project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management skills.
- You hold a Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
- You hold a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- You have knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant WHS training.
The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $4,423 - $4,807 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $115,000 - $125.000 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience). |
