The Role
Reporting to the Coordinator Open Space Operations, the purpose of
this position is to operate plant and carry out general duties required in the
Parks maintenance and construction program.
About You
You will have experience in parks maintenance and construction
along with sound knowledge of plant and implement use whilst being aware of the
maintenance and safety of equipment. You will be an effective communicator, be
physically fit to meet the requirements of the role and have a proven ability
to work independently or as part of the team.
Essential Criteria
- Experience in Parks Maintenance and
Construction
- Sound knowledge of plant and implement use,
maintenance and safety
- Understanding of lawn maintenance and
improvements
- Experience with chainsaw use, maintenance and
safety
- Experience with irrigation systems
- Weed Control ID
- Hard Landscaping
- Understanding use of Material Safety Data
Sheets.
- MR Licence
- WHS General Induction for Construction Work in
NSW
