Health & Wellbeing Officer to join our team. This role focuses on focuses on supporting our workforce by promoting environments that prioritise physical and psychological wellbeing. Ensures HSW policies, procedures, and systems are understood and actively upheld by all staff and leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with leaders and staff to deliver impactful health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Leading injury management and facilitating effective recovery-at-work programs.
- Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and assurance activities to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Preparing and presenting reports with actionable recommendations.
- Supporting incident investigations and managing cases related to health and wellbeing, injury management, and workers' compensation.
- Analyzing data to produce meaningful insights and reports.
- Promoting safety awareness and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Return to Work Coordinator accreditation.
- A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.
- Advanced Return to Work Coordinator or the abiilty to attain.
- Proven experience in a similar health and wellbeing role.
- Strong knowledge of WHS and workers' compensation legislation and practices.
- Qualifications in auditing and investigations (or a willingness to attain them).
- Experience in rehabilitation, recovery-at-work programs, and proactive health and wellbeing initiatives.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting platforms such as DoneSafe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive mindset focused on identifying efficiencies and driving improvements.
Remuneration and Benefits
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per week
Salary (exclusive of super): Start range of $87,269 to $97,681 depending on skills and experience
