Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Records Officer to join the Organisational Performance Team!
- Full time 35 hours per week
- Rostered day off every fortnight - an extra 22 days off a year!
- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary range $1296.37 - $1555.61 per week
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Records Officer is responsible for the efficient and compliant management of Council's records and information in accordance with relevant legislation, standards, and Council policies. The role ensures the capture, maintenance, accessibility, security, and disposal of records to support transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery across the organisation.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Current Driver Licence
- Minimum Cert III in Business Administration (or equivalent) or extensive experience in a similar position
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in records administration or equivalent
- Well-developed computer skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Sound written and interpersonal skills possessing a customer first focus with an ability to liaise with people at all levels
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
